Description
This class will illustrate and explain how using the various platforms of Revit software can help you to retool and upgrade your facility management process. We will examine how the third-largest pediatric hospital in the United States decided to change the “cradle to cradle” process of their design, construction, and long-term facility management process. You will see and understand examples of this process in action, the cost savings, the long-term benefits, and the lessons learned encountered. Participants will see how this facility is beginning the process of going to a fully digital system where information is created and exchanged by all stakeholders: architect, engineers, contractors, subcontractors, and eventually the Facility Team—enabling a more efficient and accurate maintenance of building system data. This process enables workflows to be streamlined and overall project costs reduced. This session features Revit and A360. AIA Approved
