Description
Building owners face growing requirements as well as cost-saving opportunities to improve building operational efficiency and accelerate decarbonization efforts. However, most buildings lack accurate as-built documents, let alone a digital foundation like CAD and building information modeling (BIM) that enable the in-depth energy analysis necessary for optimized capital planning. Connected technology can help answer these questions: Which upgrades will reduce operational costs? What decarbonization road map has the best ROI? How can my retrofit attract and retain quality tenants? Join us as we demonstrate a proof of concept that uses rich building data digitalized in an Autodesk Tandem model of an existing building, and that unlocks energy analysis capabilities via EnergyPlus using the Setmetrics platform to inform improved operational performance and a clear road map to decarbonization. We'll discuss both the technical integration developed for this real-world customer-driven opportunity and the user workflows undertaken to deliver these outcomes.
