Transform Construction Projects with Revit and Autodesk Construction Cloud: The Great Future of MEP DX!

Shinryo Corporation, one of Japan’s leading MEP subcontractors, is driving innovation in MEP workflows and Management using Autodesk Construction Cloud and Revit software. We’ll showcase Shinryo’s approach to overcoming challenges in various projects, with a focus on the NH1 PJ, a new office building PJ (18,000m²). To enhance on-site productivity, we've decentralized functions across the field, back office, and off-site bases, creating a collaborative system on a unified platform. Design work is transitioned to BIM and conducted in the back office. BIM data is shared via Autodesk Construction Cloud, streamlining approval with Issues/Review. We've developed an in-house system for the automatic design of standard prefabrication units using Revit. By consolidating construction plans and progress data in Autodesk Construction Cloud and visualizing it with Power BI and artificial intelligence (AI), we aim to ensure smooth project management by tracking progress and analyzing issues. This session will provide knowledge of the technologies’ capabilities through case studies using Revit and Autodesk Construction Cloud.

Safety in Design with Autodesk Construction Cloud and AR: The Digital Journey of an Aviation Project

The Terminal 2 Baggage Programme (T2BP) at Heathrow aims to replace the aging T2 baggage system linked to Terminal 1. The new solution will be implemented in five phases across 21 construction projects, grouped by physical and operational attributes. A major challenge was managing design risks through different organizations and suppliers that interface at key areas in a live operational environment. The manual Excel processes used to record design risks led to difficulties in maintaining a single source of truth, causing duplication and errors. The goal was to find a streamlined, digital solution to standardize processes and enable monitoring and reporting through dashboards. After researching data environments, Autodesk Construction Cloud was chosen for its suitability to manage design risk information, requiring customization through trial and feedback. The solution also provided integration with augmented reality (AR) for live inspections.

Customization of Vault Professional software also provides automatic generation of PDF, DXF™, and STP files, as well as quick updates of many projects after the change of a single part. With these tools, Kratki can efficiently respond to specific customer needs, through full digitalization at every stage of the process and data consistency in both systems. This optimizes the technology preparation process, eliminates tedious project update activities after changing single parts, and reduces errors related to outdated documentation.
