Description
Digital Workplaces often fail not because of technology, but due to misalignment between data and operational reality. In this session, we’ll explore what goes wrong when Digital Workplaces are handed over to FM teams, and we’ll present a tested solution: a facility template and data model built for real-world operations, with a focus on and insights enabled by artificial intelligence (AI). Developed using Tandem software and integrated with Planon, the template supports both short- and long-term operational needs. You’ll learn how we moved beyond COBie by using data models to define information requirements that support lifecycle management, while ensuring metrics are captured and used for AI-driven decisions. We’ll also examine why Digital Workplaces are disruptors, highlighting knowledge gaps, process flaws, and data ownership issues. This session will provide a framework to rethink how you capture, structure, and deliver building data—not just for project closeout, but for long-term operational value.
