Description
This class will explore how owners manage data structure and ensure seamless data flow between lifecycle models, Tandem software, and various CMMS systems. We’ll dive into the workflows, tools, and quality control methods that help maintain data relevance, accuracy, and visibility throughout a building’s lifecycle. As buildings undergo constant change—sometimes with portions occupied while other areas are under construction—how can owners prevent data from falling through the cracks? How do they preserve reliable sources of truth across systems? And how do they understand when to retire the assets no longer in use. We’ll be sharing the lessons learned and best approaches. We’ll also examine what structured data means to an owner in terms of value for facility operations, finance, occupant experience, and achieving goals. Finally, we’ll discuss strategies for bringing the not-so-rich / accurate models across the finish line to add to the expanding portfolio of great Digital Workplaces.
Key Learnings
- Explore how to manage handover workflows, upgrade data structures, adapt to day-two changes, and data uptake in large TIs.
- Learn about the tools to make the data flow automatically (and some manually) between your Construction Cloud models and various CMMS systems.
- Learn about the types of quality controls that keep an owner and its various stakeholders confident in the data.
- Learn data mapping using Tandem Connect to retain historical data when facility operator contracts come and go.
