Coordinated Rebar Detailing in a Multi-Trade Environment

When rebar detailing is performed independently, it often results in costly conflicts and rework. In this session, we will examine a couple of reinforced concrete projects where our team was responsible for both rebar detailing and 3D coordination with other trades using Revit, Autodesk Construction Cloud, and Navisworks software. We’ll discuss how early involvement, shared modeling with trade partners, and continuous coordination enabled us to detect clashes, streamline installation processes, and minimize field delays. Additionally, we’ll explore how Revit facilitated model data management, effective communication, and the use of new rebar tools to enhance detailing accuracy and efficiency.
