In a world of constantly evolving construction software where you have to manage multiple tech stacks on projects, imagine the relief of having a single source of truth for each project? Enter Construction Cloud. This case study of an IPD health care project aims to showcase how we structured our virtual coordination into a 3-pronged approach. First, we used Construction Cloud Locations to break a floor plan down into Rooms and TAKT zones. Second, we created Construction Cloud Assets for each room to track. And, third, we tied .RCP and In-Wall Sheets for those rooms using the Construction Cloud Sheets module. The value? Getting to look at the whole lifecycle of the room—from when the walls were in DD stage, through various stages of design and trade coordination, prefabrication, installation, and, finally, QC, punch-list, and wall-close. At every phase of the project, the team had all the information they need within one platform: Construction Cloud. This enabled the end user to view the historical context of coordination in one place. A win for all stakeholders.
