설명
Architects want to move the world, and the civil engineers want to move buildings, but neither can ever seem to agree on anything except for on the fact that they disagree. With little more than a clear path to nowhere, just how does one begin to put a project in its place? This session will focus on achieving the seemingly impossible dream of project data coming together to create a complete modelwhere it belongs. After discussing the expectations of each platform, we'll achieve this by configuring shared coordinates within Revit software and then matching everything up with the real-world coordinates used by AutoCAD Civil 3D software. With coordinated model locations in place, we will define effective practices for exchanging data between Revit software and AutoCAD Civil 3D software. Harnessing the models created by Revit software and AutoCAD Civil 3D software, we'll develop an existing conditions model and assemble the entire project in the context of its surroundings using InfraWorks software.
