Daiwa House has achieved early adoption of building information modeling (BIM) in the design phase, adopted Forma Data Management as its standard common data environment (CDE), obtained ISO 19650 certification, and is currently pursuing a CDP strategy. Toward further growth and innovation beyond BIM, we've launched the "Data-Centric Project" with Autodesk this year, focusing on a data strategy. We've defined a DDP (DfMA data platform), prepared a KoP (kit of parts) using DfMA methodology, and verified its effectiveness in real projects to address social issues such as construction waste and decrease of skilled workers. As data strategy has become essential, along with the verification of the effectiveness of the DfMA methodology in actual projects, we'll present the overall concept of the data-centered project, and discuss how DfMA and data strategy are related to each other and to the realization of the digital construction industry.

Learn to take your conceptual designs beyond the marketing image through to fabrication. This class describes the solution that we implemented for one of our clients recently where we took an Autodesk Revit conceptual mass to fabrication using Autodesk® Inventor® software. The class will demonstrate the workflow developed to take us from the design brief (a marketing image and five sections), into the conceptual massing environment in Revit software. Here we defined, panelized, and optimized the façade design before coordinating with the proposed steelwork design. This coordinated design was then taken into Inventor to create the fabrication detail necessary for automated fabrication and delivery to site. The final stage of this workflow saw the panels transferred back into Revit to coordinate and design the final supporting bracketry. This class showcases the workflow from Revit to Inventor and back again and highlights the benefits of adaptive components and massing tools to realize your designs.

As a manufacturer and installer of structural glazing products, custom designed and assembled in an automated factory, Starline Windows is uniquely positioned to work with developers and architects directly within the Revit environment. This creates many advantages and challenges in working across organizations and various internal departments. I have worked extensively with Autodesk and their Partners to implement a design process at Starline Windows that represents our product to the highest level of excellence within our shop drawings, while simultaneously creating machine data files and material managment information. I will share my experience in identifying oportunities for digital transformation and process improvement, and I will speak to implementing change across organizational boundaries. I will discuss how to bridge from a modeling environment to a data centric solution while still maintaining a "data entry once" approach for efficient, agile project delivery.

Alliances and frameworks are increasingly key procurement vehicles to facilitate large-scale delivery with multiple contractors supporting the delivery of a common goal. We'll discuss how our experience of alliance and framework contracts has been enhanced through using the Forma Build software and the integration possibilities enabled by the open API Forma Build Service. We'll demonstrate how Forma Data Management software enables contractors to share information, capture collaborative lessons learned, and use standardized details—and the program, cost, and quality benefits that this creates for clients. In this talk, we'll discuss transparency between contractors as well as the trust and confidence that Autodesk and OpenSpace can provide to clients. With one eye on the future, we'll also explore the potential game-changing impact that Autodesk Informed Design software could have on contractor collaboration through safe sharing of intellectual property in design.

Vault Professional software manages thousands of engineering workflows but property assignment, lifecycle transitions, revision management, approval routing, and enterprise resource planning (ERP) synchronization remain manual. Every operation is predictable and rule-governed. This session will deliver AU 2026's Intelligent Data theme in practice: an AI agent connected to the Vault API monitoring product data management (PDM) events and executing the right action autonomously via a Model Context Protocol (MCP) agent loop. The large language model (LLM) interprets PDM state against business rules, and the API executes without manual intervention. In controlled workflows, this has reduced administrative overhead by up to 70%. You'll leave with an ROI-prioritized implementation road map.
