The release of BIM 360 Design Collaboration showed that as the tools we use to design the world of the future develop at an ever-increasing pace, we need to think differently to make the most of these advances. Following a successful multiproject pilot of BIM 360 Design Collaboration, we identified that what worked well in fewer than 10 projects was going to be difficult in 100 projects, and impossible to sustain for 1,000 projects. This industry talk will look at how Mott MacDonald—a global engineering, development, and management consultancy—worked with Autodesk Consulting to design an approach to master this transition from pilot to production scale. We’ll share lessons learned, from developing a global network of BIM 360 super users, to using Forge and Microsoft Power BI to gain better insights into user behavior and BIM 360 usage, to measuring the ROI of BIM 360 software, to managing BIM 360 as an IT service in a large enterprise.
