    Beschreibung

This class will focus on how to use Inventor to simulate motion in assemblies. We will run through the different tools available in Inventor to simulate constrained motion. The class will start by looking at the standard assembly constraint and joint tools and how they each control motion differently by allowing degrees of freedom. Moving on from there the class will use drive constraints and the contact solver to move components in an assembly. Finally we will return to the constraint tool to examine some of the more advanced options for motion such as rotation and transitional constraints that can be used to model threaded parts, gears or belts and slot or cam followers.

    Wichtige Erkenntnisse

    • Learn how to apply Drive Constraints and use the Contact Solver
    • Understand the difference between constraints and joints
    • Learn how to model with advanced motion and transitional constraints
    • Learn how to use flexibility to simulate motion between subassemblies
